Terms of service
Last updated 17 July 2026.
The service
Xarpis provides preliminary design and verification calculators for engineering work. Calculators are free to use; a paid subscription unlocks clean (unwatermarked) PDF reports across the platform.
The service is provided by CLD Consulting, Krøyer Kielbergs Vej 10, 8660 Skanderborg, Denmark ("we").
Engineering responsibility
Xarpis is a calculation aid, not an engineering service. Results are preliminary design and verification output based on the inputs you provide and the stated source basis, assumptions, and scope of each check.
Reports are not certifications, approvals, or statements of compliance. Responsibility for any design — including verifying inputs, judging applicability, and deciding whether finite-element analysis or independent review is required — remains with you and your organisation.
Checks labelled "awaiting source" or "out of scope" deliberately produce no result and must not be treated as passing.
Subscription
Unlock starts at $9 for 3 days of full access, then renews at $49 every 4 weeks until cancelled. Payment is processed by Stripe. You can pay as a guest — no password required before purchase.
You can cancel at any time from your account page (Stripe customer portal); access continues to the end of the current period. Statutory withdrawal rights under Danish and EU consumer law are unaffected.
Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the service, resell access, or misrepresent Xarpis output as certified or independently verified when it is not.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on the site or by email. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by Danish law, with venue in Denmark.
