Every calculator has a written guide: how to set the model up, how to read the check that governs, and where the validated scope stops. Written for the engineer doing the job, not as a feature tour.
What a guide covers
- Setting the model up
- The inputs in the order the job asks for them, what each one changes downstream, and which defaults are safe to keep on a real project.
- Reading the result
- Which check governs and why, what the utilisation is measured against, and what a warning or a near-limit state is actually telling you.
- Scope and assumptions
- The configurations a pack does not cover, the assumptions it applies on your behalf, and what the report records when you issue it.
A guide explains how to use a calculator; it is not the calculation basis and it does not reproduce standard text. Clause-level traceability, check status, and the source registry live on each pack's methodology page.
