Most engineering calculations aren't hard - they're tedious, repeated, and risky to get subtly wrong. The spreadsheet gets copied one project too far, the assumption that made it valid gets lost, and what lands in the project file is a number nobody can defend six months later.

Xarpis is a growing toolkit of in-depth calculators built the way a careful engineer would build them: every check traceable to a stated source, every assumption written down, scope limits enforced instead of ignored, and a report at the end that another engineer can actually review.

The traceability rule is strict. A check computes a result only when its formula has a verified basis. Anything not yet verified is labelled awaiting source and computes nothing - an honest placeholder beats a confident guess.
